CEDAR HARMONY CHORUS
OF SWEET ADELINES INTERNATIONAL
Our Director ...
Sally Eggleston
CEDAR HARMONY CHORUS is directed by Sally Eggleston, of Cedar Rapids, Iowa.
Sally previously served as the director of Cedar Rhapsody Chorus in Cedar Rapids for
42 years. She has also directed choruses in Muscatine, Des Moines and Mason City in
competition. She has served as an international faculty member of Sweet Adelines
International for 45 years, and a certified Sound Judge for 42 years. Sally has
judged, coached and taught in the United States, Canada, England, Scotland, Holland,
Panama, New Zealand and Australia.

During her seven-year stint working for Sweet Adelines International as Education
Director Sally managed the international convention in London, England, where over
5000 worldwide Sweet Adelines singers met for competition in Royal Albert Hall. Her
credits include winning nine regional chorus championships and directing a chorus to a
third-place finish in international competition. She also directed the first chorus to win
the international Harmony Achievement Award. Whew! Can you say "EXPERIENCE"??
It's no wonder we learn SO much from her!

Sally was recently presented with the President's Lifetime Achievement Award by
Sweet Adelines International at its annual convention in Las Vegas. She is one of only
nine people to receive this award in the 62-year history of Sweet Adelines
International!

Sally is the mother of three children and she has three grandchildren. She provides
the enthusiasm, vitality and quality leadership that keep our chorus performances fun
and exciting for both singers and audience.
Sally is so much more than our
director; she is our friend, our
mentor, our cheerleader...and,
of course, the ultimate
